Yellow Wood is pleased to offer a monthly 'Open Mic Night' in our lovely cafe.

Have you got a piece of poetry or prose that you’d like to share? If you’ve written it yourself, so much the better! Please come along to our first open mic night at Yellow Wood on Tuesday 28th June at 6pm (arrive from 5.30pm) and put your name down to read or recite to us. The aim is to share some poetry or prose that you have written or admire. No prior experience or knowledge is required. This is a relaxed, fun and friendly early evening event for all to enjoy.

The evening event will be led by Ginny Hartman and will take place for approximately an hour and a half between 6 – 7.30pm every FOURTH Tuesday of the month.

Because places are limited, please book yours ahead, to be sure of a seat. To buy your ticket, you can either …

NOTE REGARDING COVID: Whilst Covid is still prevalent, please don’t attend if you are feeling unwell, and consider doing a lateral flow test. We won’t be checking this as an entry requirement but it would be appreciated.
