LIVE MUSIC at Yellow Wood Cafe featuring Dog Explosion & Joey Chickenskin. An evening not to be missed!

This will be an intimate live music event running in the evening from 7.30pm to (approx) 10.00pm on Saturday 2nd May 2026 (Doors open from 7.00pm).

Dog Explosion
An eclectic one-man electronic-industrial rock project based in Nottingham. The music is often described as a mix of 90s rave, punk and synth-pop, featuring dark baritone vocals and a "professional" Look (often performing in a shirt and tie). The band is active in the Local scene, with recent upcoming shows at Weird Garden in Lincoln and Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham.

Joey Chickenskin
Often described as a fun, punk-filtered, or rock influenced group. It is Likely a stage name or band name, rather than a food-related product. Described as a "Local supergroup" in Nottingham Culture Reviews. Featured at the annual Christmas Covers party held at The Bodega, as detailed in Leftlion.
