Nottingham songwriter Phil Langran’s songs are engaging, accessible and deeply poetic, interweaving elements of American, Celtic, folk and blues traditions. Steve Benford joins him on acoustic guitar, banjo and vocals, as well as contributing a number of his sublime solo guitar pieces. Completing the trio is the supremely accomplished Alistair Bloomfield on fiddle.

Over the past two decades The Phil Langran Band has performed at club and festival events, and recorded a number of acclaimed albums. Phil has also released two albums produced by and featuring Boo Hewerdine: ‘Skywriting’ and ‘Falling Light’.
